Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Gardiner chose to relocate to the Brunswick area for the opportunities it holds as well as its proximity to family and friends. While Dr. Gardiner has a particular interest in maternity care and women’s health, she welcomes the opportunity to care for the whole family so she accepts patients of all ages, including prenatal patients. In addition to providing the latest in preventive health care, she cares for patients with acute problems and chronic illnesses, as well as those in need of hospitalization. Prior to moving to Maine, Dr. Gardiner had spent two years providing medical care to the Navajo people in Northern Arizona. She and her husband Craig, formerly a social worker, live on a farm in Woolwich with their daughter Charlotte. For relaxation they enjoy hiking, long-distance swimming, and sea kayaking.
