Specialty: Family Medicine
After an early childhood in Katonah, New York and an undergraduate degree in Government, Dr. Harvey worked as a freelance journalist in New York City for a year before accepting a position at the Deaconess Hospital in Boston as an Autologous Blood Transfusion Technician. In 1988, still drawn to the medical field, he joined the Staff of Armstrong Ambulance located in Armstrong, Massachusetts, as an Emergency Medical Technician. He finished his medical training and came to Portland do his residency training at Maine Medical Center. The allure of the Maine coast and friendly Maine folk have captivated him ever since. Dr. Harvey is married with two children and resides with his family in Gorham.
