Specialty: Physician Assistant
When I was choosing a career field I wanted to do something that would allow me to spend a lot of time with people, offer daily challenges and still afford me enough time to spend quality time with my family. Becoming a physican assistant was the perfect solution. I love working in family practice because I can establish relationships with people that grow over time. The better I understand my patients the better health care I can provide to them. Family practice offers a wide variety and I enjoy seeing kids and adults for actue problems, health maintenance and chronic illnesses. In my years as a PA I have learned that successful treatment is a group effort between my patients and me. When my husband and I were considering making a geographic change from North Carolina we wanted to live in an area where we could be part of a community, our children could get a great education and they could be exposed to New England values. Maine certianly filled the bill. My husband, two kids and two chocolate labs are excited to be official Mainers and to be part of Bowdoin Medical Group. I look forward to meeting new people as patients and neighbors.
