Specialty: Family Medicine
For me, family medicine is a career which is both intellectually interesting and challenging, as well as deeply rewarding on a personal level. Being a family doctor puts me in the very privileged position of caring for people in all stages of life--from infancy to old age. I particularly enjoy getting to know the whole family and forming relationships over time, which help my patients achieve and maintain good health. After meeting my husband in medical school in our home state of Connecticut, we moved to Colorado to complete medical residency. We spent three busy and wonderful years in the west and then moved back to the Northeast to be near family and friends. Since moving here four years ago, our family has grown with the births of our two daughters Madeleine and Eliza, and we have fallen in love with Maine. We especially enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing and hiking along the beautiful coastline.
